HOW TO FIND US

We are easily accessible from the M1 junctions 13 & 14, the A1 and the A6.

If you are driving from the South, East and West; you will come through Bedford.

Clapham is the first village North of Bedford off the A6.  Take the A6 going north from Bedford

and at the last roundabout on the outskirts of Bedford take the Clapham turn, this road takes you through the village of Clapham and Twinwood Road is off the last roundabout in Clapham village

(3rd Exit for Twinwood Road), proceed up Twinwood Road for ½ mile until the woodland

and turn right to the Twinwood Aviation Museum & Glenn Miller Museum.

If you are driving from the North; follow the A6 towards Bedford. After the village of Milton Ernest,

take the slip road signposted towards Clapham. Go up the hill to the roundabout, straight across and down the hill. At the next roundabout take the 1st exit for Twinwood Road. Proceed up

Twinwood Road for ½ mile until the woodland and turn right down the track to the Twinwood Aviation Museum & Glenn Miller Museum.

A WARNING ABOUT SAT NAV’S

The crucial thing to remember is that you can only access the museum via Twinwood Road,

which in turn can only be accessed from a roundabout on Milton Road in the village of Clapham.

Please study a traditional map before setting off, and do not blindly trust your sat nav!

The only truly reliable way to get your Sat Nav behaving nicely is to input these

latitude/Longitude numbers: N52.1692492 W0.5049295.

These co-ordinates will take you to the Milton Road/Twinwood Road roundabout, and from there up to the Twinwood Road for just over ½ mile and you will see the museum entrance on the right.
